We’ll be touring the Nelson/Harvey building renovation project from 4:30-5:30. 
Please review Safety Guidelines Carefully

Due to job-site regulations, THOSE WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH THESE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE TOUR.


We will provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): HARD HAT, SAFETY VEST and SAFETY GLASSES.

We require that you wear: LONG PANTS and HARD SOLED/CLOSED TOE SHOES (No tennis shoes)

Also note: SLEEVELESS SHIRTS/BLOUSES ARE NOT PERMITTED

Box Dinners will be provided.

Make sure you choose a meal and drink.

The project is a renovation of the Nelson/Harvey building, located on The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s East Baltimore campus. The Nelson/Harvey building is a thirty-four (34) year old, eleven (11) story building constructed in the late 1970’s. The work will include interior renovations to six (6) inpatient units and associated support space; interior upgrades to the 1st and 2nd floor public space and new fire command center; building infrastructure upgrades including majority of MEP systems serving the entire building; exterior façade modifications; and waterproofing of the Meyerhoff Courtyard. The Project is being designed and will require construction in accordance with the Baltimore City Green Building Standards (BCGBS) as necessary to earn two (2) Green Stars.
